Drivers Training (Behind The Wheel) Cancellation Policy and No Show Fees

If less than 24 hours notification is given to the office to cancel an appointment or you forget to bring your permit for the driving lesson, there will be a $40.00 cancellation fee. All fees are due by the last lesson in full. Rush Hour reserves the right to refuse service or issue certificates when program fees are not paid in full. A lesson can be canceled online as well and if less than 24 hours notice is given a cancellation fee will be added to your account.

Driver Training (Behind-the-Wheel) Appointment Scheduling

All driver training appointments are scheduled online. Please note that availability may be limited during peak seasons such as summer, spring

break, and holidays. Rush Hour cannot guarantee openings during these times.

Scheduling Window:

Appointments open one month in advance only. We limit long-term scheduling due to high rates of cancellations, rescheduling, and missed lessons.

Lesson Length: Driver training for minors cannot exceed two hours per day.

Practice Requirement: Students should allow enough time between lessons to practice and reinforce what they’ve learned. It typically takes about 21

days to replace unsafe driving habits with good ones. Students who rush their lessons right before the DMV test are more likely to feel stressed and

perform poorly.

DMV Eligibility for Minors: To take the DMV drive test, a minor must:

•

Hold a learner’s permit for at least six months and one day

•

Be at least 16 years old

•

Complete 50 hours (10 hours must be at night) of practice with a licensed adult

•

Complete six hours of professional driver training

Important: Driver training teaches skills, laws, and safe driving habits. It is not designed as a “quick prep” for passing the DMV test. Success comes

when students combine professional instruction with consistent at-home practice.

Drivers Training (BTW) Program completion terms.

Program Expiration & Policies:

The program you select must be fully completed within the terms and conditions agreed to at sign-up. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of

all time and fees paid.

If additional time is needed, you may request a one-month extension (before your program expires) for a $50 fee.

No refunds are issued after program sign-up.

Scheduling Responsibility

Rush Hour Driving School is not responsible for limited availability due to last-minute scheduling.

It is the student’s responsibility to schedule lessons early and allow enough time to complete training within the program period listed on your

invoice.

COVID-19

NO MASK REQUIRED FOR STUDENTS DURING DRIVER TRAINING UNLESS THE STUDENT OR PARENT REQUEST IT. Rush Hour Driving School is not responsible for insufficient calendar schedule openings due to last minute scheduling. It is your responsibility to allow enough time to complete the driver training program within the time specified on your invoice.

Prices are subject to change without notice at any time.

Program Specials may not be combined with any other offers or special pricing. Rush Hours Driving School Offers cannot be combined with like or any other offers. Specials are only offered for a limited time as determined by Rush Hour Driving School. Please ask before signing up two (2) students we may be able to offer a discount price. Drivers Education Course (4 day IN-CLASS session) Currently Rush Hour does not offer in-class DRIVERS EDUCATION CLASS. HOWEVER we do offer on-line Drivers Education course here. If you need more info please call the office 559- 297-6903

Behind-the-Wheel Training (BTW 6 hrs) or (BTW 2 hours) Permit Requirement A valid DMV-issued learner’s permit must be in the student’s possession at every lesson. Copies or photos of permits will not be accepted. If a student forgets their permit, the instructor must cancel and reschedule the lesson. A $40 cancellation fee will apply. Scheduling Training is conducted within the Clovis and Fresno areas. Appointments are first come, first served—please schedule early to reserve your spot. Lessons for minors are limited to two hours per day. For minors under 17½, the required six hours of BTW training will be completed in three 2-hour lessons. All six hours must be completed within the timeframe specified at sign-up, or deposits may be forfeited. Service may be limited if you live outside our standard pickup zones (93619, 93730, 93726, 93706, or other areas far from Fresno/Clovis). Please call our office to confirm availability. Courtesy & Cleanliness We make reminder calls or texts, and our Drive Scout app allows you to set your own schedule and reminders. Our vehicles are kept clean inside and out, and we sanitize all contact areas to ensure a safe, comfortable learning experience.
