Thank You For Visiting Program Information & Policies Eligibility: All programs are available for adults seeking their first license or a refresher course. Permit/License Requirement: Students (teens or adults) must have a valid permit or license to sign up and participate in any lesson. Pricing: Prices are subject to change without notice. Teens Under 17½: Required to complete at least 6 hours of instruction from a DMV-licensed driving school and hold a permit for six months and one day before eligibility for the driving test. Teens 18 and Older: Considered adults; a permit is still required to drive during lessons. • Teens 18 or over are considered adults and have no permit restrictions but, are still required to have one to drive. Scheduling & Cancellations Appointment Notice: Less than 24-hour notice or failure to cancel results in a $40 cancellation fee. See our Terms and Conditions for full details. Online Services: Sign up, make payments, schedule, and reschedule lessons online, or call our office. Pick-Up/Drop-Off: Available at home, school, or work within the Fresno and Clovis area. Location Restrictions We may not be able to drive to homes in the following areas: o 93619 (north of Copper Ave, south of Jensen Ave, east of Del Rey Ave) o 93737, 93726, 93706 o Locations outside Fresno/Clovis If you live in these zones, the Drive Scout program defaults to our office for pickup and drop-off. For exceptions within Fresno/Clovis, please call or email our office to confirm availability and scheduling options or if the pickup address is within our area I will make the changes to your account on sign up to reflect pick up and drop off at home.

NOTE: All services can be conducted here online such as signing up and payment. To schedule, cancel or reschedule you must login with your login information sent to you in your email. Scheduling Note Our schedule opens one month in advance from the current date. Depending on your location, not all calendar availability may be visible when you log in. New openings are added daily, so please check your account frequently. After signing up and paying, login information is sent to the student’s email via Drive Scout. Check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see it. If you cannot find your login details, call or email our office, and we will send a new email with your credentials.

Important Driver Training & Testing Information

Scheduling: Rush Hour Driving School cannot guarantee calendar openings due to last-minute scheduling. It is your responsibility to allow enough time to complete the driver training program within the timeframe specified on your invoice (usually six months). Before the DMV Test: o If you feel fully prepared for the driving test, additional driver training may serve mostly as a formality. o If you are still struggling with rules, habits, or vehicle control, you are not yet ready. DMV examiners cannot provide physical or verbal assistance during the test; if they do, the test will be stopped. Practice Matters: o It takes about 21 days to break unsafe driving habits. o During the test, students often “blank out” and rely on the habits they’ve built. Consistent practice of safe driving is crucial. o Keep up these habits even after earning your license to ensure ongoing safety.
